Day 146: Turbo Master

Listed as an "Aerial Marauder," Turbo Master is an Action Master Elite. That is, the normally non-transforming Action Master has been graced with a transformation, albeit an entirely unconvincing one. He turns into a rotor-plane that looks like Turbo Master kinda lying down and doing yoga. Of peculiar note, Turbo Master's design is based on  Bruticus , the combined form of the Combaticons, though nothing is noted about this in his bio. Turbo Master was available in European markets in 1991.

Day 144: Double Punch

Double Punch is a Decepticon from the extended Action Master assortment available only in European markets in 1991. Double Punch's body style closely resembles Skorponok and Black Zarak, though he appears to be a distinct third character. As an Action Master Elite, he can transform -- more convincingly than other Action Master Elites -- into a mechanical scorpion.

Day 130: Omega Spreem

Another Action Master Elite joined the ranks of the Autobots in 1991 -- at least, in European markets -- in the form of Omega Spreem. That weird spelling of "Supreme", the garish colors and his awkward transformation into an unconvincing tank make him an oddity for sure.

Day 125: Windmilll

While the main Transformers "Generation One" line ended in the US in 1990, in Europe, there was still a bit more juice to squeeze from these toys. In 1991, the Action Master subseries continued with Action Master Elites, which took the basic conceit of Action Masters (non-transforming action figures) and, well, made them transform. Windmill is an Autobot air defense specialist, and turns into a rather unconvincing helicopter. That's the thing about Action Master Elites - their simplistic designs means their vehicle modes are pretty much their robot modes standing in awkward poses. This drawing is from 2019.
