Next in the Spychanger line up is the Robots in Disguise-incarnation of Ironhide, who turns into a Ford F150 Flareside pickup truck. This mold had previously been used as the classic Ironhide during the Generation 2 series in 1995, and as Motormouth that same year. In Japan, this toy was named Ox, a reflection of the big cattle skull deco on his hood. The story around the Spychangers refer to them as ninjas, which is hard to imagine with an alt-mode like a F150 sporting a Holstein cow paint job.
The combined form of the Universe Micromaster Aerialbots is Superion, an amalgamation of six robots plus their pack-in accessories that serve as connectors, head, and extremities of the gestalt warrior. While in Japan, the original source of the design ( Sixwing , 1992) was available in a collected set, this combiner needed to be purchased one bot at a time in the 2007 Universe release.
