Day 37: Skyfire

Skyfire is another re-use of a Machine Wars body design (which itself was an unused Generation 2 design), transforming from Decepticon robot to a Dassault Rafale jet. I have previously illustrated this design as Skywarp and Thundercracker from Machine Wars, and Thrust from Beast Wars II. Skyfire was available in the Robots in Disguise line in a two-pack bundled with Tow-Line.

Mad was available in Japan in 2003. He was later rechristened "Skull Buster" in Fan Club-generated lore.
